Interchange Discount Conditions

  1. Same Octopus Card should be used on both legs
  2. Before boarding on the second leg journey,
    • the remaining value of the Octopus Card must be positive
    • the same Octopus Card should not be used on other bus routes or on other modes of transport
    • non-transport Octopus transactions, such as adding value or making phone calls, should not be more than 9 times
    • the same Octopus Card should be presented on the second leg within specific time limits
  1. Only one discounted bus-bus interchange trip is allowed on the same journey. (except for specified bus-bus interchange packages)
  2. Passengers will not be able to enjoy any discount if they interchange on buses on the same bus route.
